Ruby Software Engineer

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a highly skilled computer programmer who is comfortable with both, front and backend programming. Ruby developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

• Work with minimal supervision to implement best-in-class solutions.
• Work closely with the rest of the development organization to ensure top-notch software quality.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience developing software applications.
• Proficiency with Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to self-start and accomplish tasks with limited feedback/supervision.
• Willing to ask for help when needed. Understanding that reaching out is an
  • essential part of professional development.
• Flexibility to react quickly and adapt to meet customer and market needs.
  • Nice to have
• Previous role in large B2B projects.
• Experience with Docker / Docker Compose / Kubernetes.

• English Level: Fluency (mandatory).
• Reside in Buenos Aires or nearby.
